SOCIAL PROGRAMME
The Welcome Reception on the first evening of the congress took place in the outdoor grounds of the Congress venue. Cocktails and canapés were served to the lively music of a marching band, and it wasn't long before everyone was up and dancing to the beats of the Chilean drum and brass!
The Congress Dinner for WFOT delegates and their accompanying guests was one of the highlights of the social program. Almost 1000 people joined together for an evening of fun, singing and dancing, lively entertainment and delectable typical Chilean meal at "Los Buenos Muchachos" Restaurant.
The three course meal which included the traditional Pisco Sour and Chilean wines, was constituted of seafood starter, main entrée of beef, chicken or salmon and dessert.
While dining, delegates were able to watch the group Andanzas perform a spectacular folk show (click here to see more). After the meal, everyone hit the dance floor with and move to the music of Los Buenos Muchachos Orchestra. It was a night for all to remember!
