The WFOT Bulletin April 2016 issue will provide a forum for discussing international occupational therapy education in its broadest sense. The issue will specifically explore methods used in occupational therapy to bridge theory with practice, including:
• practice placement or fieldwork education;
• how students are assessed to ensure they are competent to practice as occupational therapists;
• approaches to bringing practice into the classroom and theory into practice;
• continuing professional development.
Perspectives from across the world are specifically welcomed as are collaborations or comparisons between different countries and approaches.
Types of articles
As well as the standard research and non-research general papers, this issue will also contain collections of related short (max 1000 words) case studies that will be compiled together in an edited collection. Case studies should be specifically directed to the special edition editors.
Submissions to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists Bulletin are welcome. Please submit your article online through the Editorial Manager submission system: www.edmgr.com/otb/
The closing date for submissions is 30 November 2015.
