Snapshot survey of current mindfulness techniques in occupational therapy practice to treat chronic pain
The purpose of this study is to gather descriptive information about occupational therapy professionals’ use of mindfulness practices to treat chronic pain conditions, the perceptions occupational therapy professionals have toward mindfulness practices in the current scope of occupational therapy, and interest in incorporating mindfulness techniques and interventions into their current or future practice via the use of an online survey. There will be an introduction letter prefacing the survey that will act as a consent form for respondents. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Anonymity of data will be ensured considering no personal data such as name or contact information will be collected.
